Kate Humble is a writer and television presenter.  Her most recent credits include Springwatch, The Frankincense Trail, and Autumnwatch for BBC 2 and Who Do You Think You Are? For BBC 1. She has travelled extensively, including remote regions of Afghanistan last year.  She has also written for a number of publications including The Telegraph, The Times, The Independent, Travel Africa and Wanderlust and is co-author of the book ‘Springwatch and Autumnwatch’   Six years ago she set up www.stuffyourrucksack.com a website dedicated to helping travellers give support to the world’s poorest communities.
